unión de… LUIS BARRAGÁN × NORITOSHI HIRAKAWA

The poster titled “unión de...” presents an exploration of the work of Mexican architect Luis Barragán by Japanese photographer, video and performance artist Noritoshi Hirakawa. The Casa Barragán, however, is viewed and interpreted not as a representative aesthetic symbol but rather as a social organism of people and environments. Dancers are integrated into the architecture to reflect the current conditions of our living spaces. Yielding a sensuous and ambiguous effect, the artist’s photographs are complemented and contrasted on the poster with artistically stylised typography.

Red Dot
