Thumbtack Mechanical Device

Reaching into a box of untidy thumbtacks and getting accidentally pricked is a common occurrence. But have we ever thought about using a thumbtack like a stapler? The Thumbtack Mechanical Device is designed to explore this idea. First, this device works with specially designed thumbtacks that have pin-sized openings on the top that will allow one thumbtack to be stacked (inserted) with another. When the thumbtacks are connected into a series, the entire column can be slotted into the thumbtacks dispenser. Simply press the device like a stapler to spring-release a thumbtack.
