The Artist’s Workshop
Inspired by the ideation process of constructing a product, The Artist’s Workshop showcases a conceptual brand selling fashion garments and jewellery. It aims at ennobling the ignoble to communicate the intangible as well as the beauty of turning improbable dreams into reality. Using discarded materials from the collection, the pillars idealise the statement that through design and innovation even the unwanted can be given a new lease of life. Captivated by the dress forms used by the jewellery designer to drape prototypes, embossed dress forms were created using a cement and paper-mâché blend to display the product as the creator envisioned. The exhibition space invigorates the expression that the spirit of creation is not limited by technology or materials but rather engendered by one’s imagination.
