Swarmth

All too often, fruits and vegetables are thrown away because they do not look perfect any more. In order to prevent food waste, this series of illustrations addresses a young target group. The aim is to foster awareness among children that ugly food can still be nutritious and delicious. By representing the leftovers as little monsters, the project takes a humorous approach. The underrated foodstuffs are introduced as a group of rather bizarre heroes, showing their potential in a refreshing, entertaining way.
