Showroom
Star Micronics Solution Center
The straight lines of the company’s machines served as inspiration for an interior design free of any unnecessary decoration for the showroom of the Japanese printer manufacturer, Star Micronics. A central feature of the reception area is a still serviceable printing press from the early days of the company. The noises and movements it makes and the ticking of a clock remind the visitor of the company’s continuous productivity. The exhibition rooms have no partition walls, instead, individual display areas are separated by carefully positioned spotlights. The room design makes it possible to exchange exhibits easily and use the space flexibly, e.g. for private shows.
