Brand Identity
South Cape Owners Club
The logo for the South Cape Owners Club in South Korea was inspired by a sculpture made of Carrara marble in Italy, designed by the American sculptor Richard Erdman. This sculpture embodies the Italian musical motif volante, which can be translated as “cheerfully like flying”. Many parts of South Cape have been turned into artwork – from the clubhouse to the front desk, the partitioning in the restaurant, the walls of the music library and the spa. As a part of this process, the logo was derived from the sculpture. The same identity was also applied in the signage of the South Cape Owners Club.
