Silk Road – A Journey of Taste with Pu-erh Tea

Inspired by the Silk Road, Pu-erh tea was exported alongside silk and porcelain, this tea box combines the three traditional wares to create an aesthetic whole. The result is a successful new interpretation, creating a vivid, Chinese-style packaging design. In order to promote Pu-erh tea to the masses, this packaging concept transformed traditional disc-shaped tea into single-serving portions, which can be brewed easily in teapots or mugs. The Chinese woven silk coasters can be seen through the tea-cup-shaped window in the box, creating the image of an exquisite traditional teacup.
