SCARPA, a long-established Italian manufacturer of performance footwear, sought to widen its target group from professional mountaineers towards amateurs and the lifestyle industry, while maintaining its iconic, rather technical character. Human aspirations and challenges were put at the heart of the brand experience, focusing on identity and storytelling. The bespoke new typeface offers a range of ligatures and alternates, so as to provide striking logotypes for each product.
