POP ART
POP ART's intuitive design aims to encourage users to return the remote control to its charging dock, an action that also switches the box off automatically.
The remote control is recharged by a magnetic base in the corner of the set-top box. This recess serves as a visual cue for users to return the remote control to the charging dock when not in use. When the remote control is put back in place, the set-top box automatically shuts down to save power. This way, users can also easily locate the remote control the next time they watch TV.
The minimalist and modular design of this set-top box incorporates stacking and staggering shapes inspired by pop art aesthetics. It also borrows traditional pop art colour palettes for its colour scheme. This distinct personality created for the set-top box is something that will appeal to a youthful demographic.
