POLARIS TYPE T addresses the increasing demand for electric vehicle (EV) charging in urban areas, where existing infrastructure is often insufficient and limited to specific zones. Expanding dedicated charging stations is challenging due to urban land constraints and grid strain. By integrating charging systems into the extensive and densely distributed public lighting network, POLARIS extends charging coverage, boosts efficiency, and reduces the need for dedicated space. Solar-powered integration further alleviates grid load and supports charging various electric vehicles, including bicycles.
POLARIS TYPE T also features public media advertising displays, offering a sustainable business model through paid public ads that fund product maintenance and updates. The system’s solar panels power its lighting and electric transportation functions, while a user-friendly interface and retractable cable reels provide a convenient charging experience.
The design of POLARIS is clean and ingenious, thoughtfully separating the charging, lighting, bike parking, and electronic display areas. Dynamic trapezoidal metal casings integrate the front runway-shaped charging zone, rear bike parking barrier, and electronic display screen. The sloping Z-shaped dual-directional lighting section illuminates roads and sidewalks while aiding solar energy collection. Constructed from recyclable alloys, POLARIS guarantees durability and ease of maintenance through its modular design.
