MOGU - Grow Mushrooms With Waste Paper

To reduce the carbon footprint of both paper waste and mushrooms as much as possible, MOGU was created to make growing edible mushrooms at home an easier process. MOGU comprises of the Mogu Maker, a tool for preparing substrate for mushroom growth; the ‘transformer’, where redesigned spore packages that can be converted into recyclable containers; and the Mogu App that analyses mushroom growth to provide users with specific tips and methods to better cultivate the mushrooms. A lid also protects the substrate from bad bacteria while keeping it dark to promote mycelium growth. Another key feature is the recyclable paper packaging.
