An albatross that has lost its wing chases a hermit crab that has lost its companion – not to fill its belly, but to fill the emptiness in its heart. Environmental disasters are not isolated cases. Someday, disasters will affect everything from bottom-up in the food chain. When the time comes that a species is wiped out, there might be a new order in the food chain. MidWay is a film about about our world. The director of the film strives to find the soul of Taiwan by understanding the voices in its blind spots.
