The Loewe Assist Media app for the iPad is a one-of-a-kind TV remote control: it enables users to control and programme the Loewe TV set with a simple swipe of the finger – and this, in turn, also has a new experience in store for the successful tablet PC. The interface features a graphically clear, reduced design that offers easy and playful operation. With the light colour of the text set against a dark grey background, its high elegance and functionality tie in directly with the characteristic design of this manufacturer for home electronics. Serving as a digital remote control, the app also features a TV guide and a video library. Browsing through the iPad electronic programme guide and the cross-channel overview, users are informed at a glance about what is on air and what is coming up next – everything complemented by background information and preview images arranged for easy orientation and navigation. In addition, the app proves that creating favourites, programming and launching instant recording can be done with ease.
