Korean Pavilion – Expo Milano 2015
The Korean Pavilion at Expo Milano 2015 is implemented with black-and-white architectural spaces revealing the central theme of “Food for the Future”. By using an unconventional design concept, the aim is to make the visitors rethink what it really means to “eat”. With a combination of content expressed through various media arts, this exhibition covers the areas of Balance of Nutrition, the Fermentation Process, Food Storage Systems and Sustainable Future Foods. The concept of a two-storey building leads the visitors into a Korean restaurant at the end of the tour, offering a four-dimensional learning experience.
