Kokua
Kokua is a German brand providing premium balance bikes for kids. The brand came to China in late 2015 and introduced the Kokua Cup, an event around a racing competition. As sales and brand reputation gradually improved, a consistent yet flexible design system was needed to communicate the brand’s values. A Chinese logotype, which applies a similar style to the English logo, was developed for this purpose. Furthermore, the diamond-shaped brand motif in contrasting colours, which echoes the brand-specific tyre pattern, ensures a visual impact. In addition, a complete brand identity was developed, including a new colouring and fonts. The brand presence is supplemented by an illustration of a mascot inspired by a cheetah cub.
