JING-X: Intelligent driving system for trucks

More than 20 million truck drivers constitute the largest and most labour-intensive professional group in today’s logistics industry. The working conditions of truck drivers are linked not only to the development of the industry and the operation of the economy, but also to people’s livelihoods and social stability. However, they face numerous challenges during their driving and work processes, such as fatigue driving, long wait times at ports, and cargo anomalies. These issues affect not only the overall logistics industry’s transportation efficiency, but also the health and safety of drivers. JING-X is an intelligent driving system for trucks that re-examines the entire driver operation process, with a focus on efficiency, safety, and emotion. Utilising artificial intelligence, big data, 5G communication, intelligent sensors, and digital twin technologies, the designed intelligent truck driving system can improve operational efficiency and safety while also providing the emotional support drivers require, making their journey more efficient, safe, and comfortable.
