The design of this restaurant realises and visualises the “Light Your Life” concept. Aimed at achieving a “brilliant” lighting design, the storefront features metal Venetian slats to absorb and reflect different colour shades depending on the time of day, the season and the weather conditions. At night, artificial lighting integrated into the gaps of the slats creates interest and momentum. As the word “light” can also imply lightweight, the entire material scheme and design technique for the interior are centred around simplicity. The outdoor furniture is constructed from 5 mm thick stainless-steel sheets. The termi-nation detail at the top of the backrest is formed by a lightweight sheet of metal eased into a scroll.
