Book
Information + Graphics ≠ Infographics
This publication is about infographics. It explores the role of information design, visual storytelling and visual journalism in the process of creating high-quality infographics. With a mix of text and graphics – designed in different colours – this work aims to explain their purpose, their strength to use visual means in order to simplify complex matters and give a clear representation of facts. In addition to an overview of the above concepts, it also provides insight into their specific types and principles, and explores the concept of “Infographic Thinking”.
