At the backdrop of the conception for this short film is the fact that one quarter of teenagers in Taiwan are suffering from depression. The characters shown in the motion graphic film appeal to the emotions of viewers with the aim of inviting them to adopt a more positive attitude towards things in general. “Emotion Turns Green” wants to elucidate that depression could cause melancholia when it is ignored for a period. Therefore, it is vital that young depressed people receive help.
