Elegant Querulant

Created for a design collective comprised of eight designers from four different disciplines, this corporate design plays with the contrasts contained in the company name. The “elegant” concept is reflected by the logo’s classical Antiqua font and the clearly structured Grotesque font for the running text. The word “querulant” (German for “troublemaker”) is a synonym for a rebellious, unconventional thinker and is illustrated in the design through an interruption of the elegant typography with the stamped caricatures of the individual designers.
