El teatro de las máquinas

This compendium is an homage to “The Theatre of Machines”, a book genre which appeared for the first time at the end of the 16th century in Europe and in which inventors published their designs of amazing machines, most of which were never brought to market. “El teatro de las máquinas” compiles 88 inventions and items of interest, all related to the industrial world. Both the cover and the inside of the 174-page book are characterised by two special colours: the prevailing colour replaces black as the conventional colour for typography, while the neon accent colour highlights certain details of the infographics and navigation. The balanced editorial design interprets the appearance of an old encyclopaedia in a contemporary way.
