Dokdo

While watching the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, the designer realised that the Dokdo Islands were missing and was inspired to design the cutlery set to make a statement. Sauce bowls are frequently used in Korean dining. The shape of the ridge of Dokdo appears when sauce is poured into the bowl. The spoon and chopsticks, both important tools in Korean dining, were designed harmoniously with the bowl. The spoon and chopstick rest also has the Taegeuk pattern, a Korean symbol.
