DeepL is a browser- and AI-based translation tool. It is not only able to translate individual words, but it also puts them in the right context so that entire sentences are correctly rendered in the desired language. Even proverbs are recognised, and an appropriate translation in the target language given. Text can be entered directly into the browser or uploaded as a document. The interface is kept minimalistic and based on the principle of “form follows function”. Small visual details such as icons or illustrations support user guidance and enable intuitive handling of the tool.
