Daddy’s Girl
Daddy’s Girl displays the drama of a strained relationship between a young woman and her father. After an argument with him the night before, she wonders whether their relationship can be saved. She thinks through the previous day, running through a number of what-if scenarios and how they might unfold. The short film presents this dilemma by using various techniques, such as split-screen and audio overlays, to convey her thoughts. The viewer simultaneously follows at least two possible courses of action, sometimes as many as four, in various sizes and arrangements.
