Since touring is the most important source of income for many musicians, this user experience design is perfectly tailored to their needs. “Current” aims to maintain the essence of the DIY musician scene by supporting tours, while providing a resource enabling independent musicians to understand their network across the country. As a mobile and desktop app, it offers ways to communicate, build tours easily and review venues. Designed in the style of popular rock zines, it allows the musicians to connect with one another on tour and find venues in new cities according to their preferences, all powered by machine learning.
