360 Degree Bicycle Safety Reflector

Conventional bicycle reflector designs are constrained by a flat surface profile, which is only effective under strict lighting conditions, or when the cyclist is approached/observed directly from behind. Rooblee – 360 Degree Bicycle Safety Reflector resolves this problem by introducing a unique 360-degree polyhedron retro reflective inner construction and several other unique features: a transparent outer profile that magnifies the perceived reflectivity of the inner polyhedron; simultaneous propagation of the light source through and onto all reflective surfaces; visibility from all viewpoints (regardless of the light source orientation); and daytime illumination by capturing natural daylight. This is further complimented by a vibrating flexible mounting system which utilises the cyclists’ motion in order to oscillate the reflector. This will help capture the driver’s attention and awareness, while encouraging motion detection by autonomous vehicle guidance systems. The Rooblee – 360 Degree Bicycle Safety Reflector can be mounted on the front or rear of all genres of bicycle. A range of colour combinations, depending on the required safety applications, can be combined within each individual polyhedron construction.
