In Singapore too, the Red Dot Design Museum boasts an unusual location: Visitors can look at the exhibition in the glass building on Marina Bay to the south of the city. The iconic building features several galleries and shows an exhibition of in excess of 345 award-winning, futuristic concepts.

Xiamen

The latest Red Dot Design Museum is located in the Chinese coastal city of Xiamen. The exhibition venue can be found in the Xinglinwan Business Operation Center, an impressive building which, at 262 metres, is the second tallest in the port city of Xiamen. The museum extends over three floors of the building and offers almost 10.350 square metres of space for the presentation of outstanding product design. Among the highlights is the special exhibition “The Power of Design”, which offers a fascinating insight into international award-winning product design and at the same time provides basic knowledge and information on current trends and innovations. Visitors can thus experience an inspiring link between outstanding design and modern architecture.
